Tired and Burning OUT

Yall...Sista-girl was burnt by mid-January. I was doing ALOT. I really wanted to ramp my blog and social media space. I wanted to start offering services. Unfortunately, I couldn't muster up the energy. My body was inflamed. My feet started to look puffy and my weight was about 10lbs over my normal digits. I took my own best advice to focus on did nothing outside of the necessities and self care. It was really noticeable when I made my waist beads. I am a fairly slender yet dense person with no waist.
We are living in precarious times. If we do not focus on SELF, we are no good to anyone else especially our partners and our children. Only you and your own inner blockages cause sickness and disease. I have sadly seen it happen. Your body naturally wants to expel anything that is not for its great good. If you are not conscious of your smaller physical issues, it will only build up to something much larger.
I am a stress eater. I use stress as an excuse to have extra treats especially SUGARY ones. And, sugar is THE WORST! So what did I do to bounce back? I know that temporary inflammation can quickly be eradicated with a simple detox. No extreme measures need to be made. No water fasts for three days. No juice fasts (although extremely beneficial). I simply cut the crap. The chai tea lattes disappeared. The cookies from the fancy corner store were not purchased. The Jarritos soda and Spicy Doritos stayed on the shelf. No ice cream went into a bowl and into my mouth.
During 1st semester of class, I was my own first client. So, I pulled out my own personal assessment plan and went to work. Everyone is unique so my experience is only an example
For me, the below diet is NORMAL. My husband calls it Twig and Berries. And truly it is! When I eat in this manner, my histamine reactions calm down and my eczema begins to heal. I have no digestive issues and pooping is NOT an issue. Here's my regimen:
Detox drink in the mornings for three days (not an every day thing). Used to initiate digestion and elimination.
Large berry fruit bowl with coconut flakes, flax seed, and cashews (specific to my own nutritional needs)
Large salad with an olive or avocado oil type dressing (homemade or store bought)
Therapeutic herbal tea
Moringa - daily multivitamin
Pau D'Arco
Saraspirilla
Sour Sop
and many more possibilities from my home herbal cabinet
Homemade spice chai tea with oatmilk with date sugar
I have treated my self with chips (3 ingredients with no preservatives) if I needed something crunchy. The boys and the husband laugh at me because they taste VERY bland alone. Also, I have treated myself to one sugary treat and thoroughly enjoyed it! For me, this is a pretty good day. Growing up I never was a big eater. I have come to accept it. I naturally have low blood pressure, so I use seasonings and good fats generously nowadays. Both helps with vitamin and mineral absorption.
In one week, I have dropped 8lbs. I have a few more pounds to drop but I'm not stressing it since yoga pants, joggers, and hoodies are my primary work wardrobe.
Tomorrow, I will go back to my daily yoga, deep breathing sessions, and consistent meditation. These keep me calm, balanced, yet focused throughout the work day. Also, my goal is to regain my flexibility.
