Happy New Year!

Wait...WHAT? I thought the New Year was January 1st!
Where I live, everything is still dead on January 1st, the weather is cold, and the motivation of doing anything new is at level ZERO. I was still on hibernation mode with my pups and put everything down to chill (pun intended) instead. I did not run to the gym or start a new diet. I was instead told to rest, even though I had plenty of projects to work on. So, I rested.
Technically the start of the year is the Spring Equinox, March 20th. It is the first day of Spring by way of the Farmer's Almanac. It is also the first day of the Astrological calendar with Aries. It is a time to plant seeds and start new projects. You are more motivated when there is more sunlight out. The weather is beginning to turn. In some areas, flowers are beginning to pop up and trees are blooming.
And with that said...there is a NEW Moon tomorrow. It's a perfect time to release the old and set intentions for the month. Get your pen and paper out, make plans, and take action. Many people want to manifest yet not do the work that is required to achieve those desires. If you want a thriving garden, you have to step up, do the pre-work, and maintain it along the way.
Now, some people may think this is all mystical beliefs or idol worship. But, in reality, nature ebbs and flows on these solar and moon cycles such as a woman's menstural cycle or the height of the ocean. Weird things happen on the Full Moon. I used to work in a retail store. When I was in a Sales Manager, I asked my boss not to schedule me during a full moon. SERIOUSLY. I have more than one odd story to tell about my evening closings.
Even the date, time, and location of your birth can give you indicators of things you should pay attention about your HEALTH! Medical astrology is a whole thing by itself. Knowing this information is a start to show you what type of energy you were born in, identify potential inherent weaknesses, and give you recommendations on how to stay mentally, spiritually, and physically balanced.
I am looking forward to warmer, brighter days. If you see me around town riding my bike, meditating at the beach, walking the pups, or enjoying an ice cream cone, it will be a clue of what intentions I have set for the New Year/New Moon.
Much love!

Happy New Year! Happy New Moon! Happy Spring Equinox!
The more I learn on my spiritual path, the more I'm here to embrace all it's revealing to me that's in alignment with my Soul Mission.
I was studying Astrology this week and was prompted to look up the phase of the moon at the time of my birth. I was born during the New Moon. All I could say was WOW! There is an abundance of work I am "requiring" of me at this time and I am "required" to make it plain and "be specific" to my spiritual guides, ancestors, angels and the ALL. I am so grateful, I am so grateful, I AM SO GRATEFUL!
Thank you Ms.…
