Natural Detox Cleanse

I have done several detoxes and fasts over the years. They all have been really good at flushing out the body. As I have experienced these different options, I realized that there is no one size fits all solution. Plus, it depends on how drastic of a change an individual is willing to make. For me, each cleanse takes me to a new level of understanding on what works for my body and what does not.

The cleanse I really like right now is a Natural Detox. This detox drink is a great overall natural cleanse that purifies the blood, alkalines and flushes out the body, and boosts the immune system. My soul sistar uses the same formula minus the olive oil and adds ginger for an knock-out punch for colds and flu.

4 cups of spring water

1 freshly squeezed lemon or 2 small limes

1-2 cloves of garlic

1-2 shakes of cayenne pepper

Agave or maple syrup to taste

1/4-1/2 organic extra virgin cold pressed olive oil

Recently, I whipped up the Natural Detox to target severe constipation. Since I was working with a child, I did not push him to drink all 4 cups in one day. He consumed the 32 ozs over the course of a few days. He drank mostly herbal tea, the Natural Detox drink, fruit, and other easily digestible foods. By the end of day 1, the blockages had been released. By the end of day 2, the intestines started to eliminate. By day 3, vitality and energy started to return. Depending on how he was feeling, I adjusted the food and herbal teas to deal with the detox symptoms since he had a lot to purge.

If this Natural Detox is used regularly, it is a mild cleanse. Diet is critical in getting the best overall results. The length of a cleanse would depend on the individual.
