Detox Finale

Writing every day of this detox was thrown out the window. Without having group participating in the cleanse, it was definitely less distracting and entertaining. On Day 6, which is the beginning of the release, I was ready to just be over it. I am not a huge fan of apple juice. The protocol requires drinking 32 ounces a day. That's a lot of apple juice! If you Google gallbladder detox, you will find different options. The one I used is custom made for melanated beings, but foundation is from Andreas Mortiz, The Amazing Liver & Gallbladder Flush.

By 8pm, both Epsom salt drinks had been consumed. From previous cleanses, it's important to have the bowel movements started prior to going to bed. It sounds counterintuitive but it helps the elimination happen smoother. At 9:30, I gave myself an enema. This is where everything broke lose.
As my body started to release and eliminate, I had a familiar feeling of anxiety. This cleanse not only releases gallstones, it releases anger, resentment, stress, fear, and any other emotional toxin. I was going to take a hot bath, but my intuition told me "April, you're doing too much."
I took my grapefruit concoction and went to bed. At some point between consciousness and sleep, I felt my spirit being lifted and the anxiety disappeared.
During the course of the next 24 hours, I transformed. I finished my last two Epsom salt cocktails, brushed my teeth at the timed hour, and broke my fast with berries and a glass of water. I felt hot on and off all day.
Ironically, on Tuesday (the next day), my oldest son had an acupuncture appointment. I am usually gifted with several needles as I sit and wait. The doctor must have seen something and put me into the next room for a full body treatment. My gallbladder had been working too hard. I don't understand why. All I know is that my skin has been going through it all winter. Over the last couple of weeks, I had been having aches in my knees and hips. She targeted my lymphatic system focusing on my sinuses, liver, and gallbladder. The divine timing was amazing. My hand felt sore for about an hour after I left.
By Wednesday, I was still eliminating the same wateriness from the cleanse and by midday my nose started to drain. My body has been shifting. I did ruin it with the remnants of cheese pizza I made for my kids. Otherwise, I've been eating light and drinking herbal teas.
Healing your body is a process. There is no one magic button to switch to flip. I do think this cleanse was much needed to finish the elimination process. Listen to your body when it's not functioning optimally.
Hugs and Love!

Great Job!
